Profile
Thanks to my niece Julie, and her husband Noel, we gathered at a lovely cabin near Mont Tremblant for a few days one September.
Julie and Noel were taking part in the Montreal Half Iron Man and had booked the cabin, for the rest of us to stay there with them, after the race.
It was a lovely few days, not only to see Julie and Noel again, who live in Dubai, but for us all to be together again in such a beautiful setting.
The weather was remarkable, for the Laurentian Mountains, Quebec, in September, We spent the time swimming. boating and merrymaking.
The cabin was large, and it had its own access to a dock at the waters edge. It was here that my son & daughter-in-law’s dog, Buddy, a big chocolate covered Labrador Retriever, first learned how to swim, thanks to Julie’s persistent encouragement.
Julie and Noel did exceptionally well in the Iron Man and took home some well-earned medals and wonderful memories of us all together once more.
