Disney Parade

Every child’s dream, The Disney Parade at Disneyland.

I can tell you it awed me too and I am a Grandmother.

After spending many hours going around Disneyland, somehow, none of us were tired. We had gone on ride after ride. Experienced thrill after thrill. Stopped and visited with every Disney Princess you can think of, seen wonders beyond words and then came the time to wait on the curbside for the Disney Parade to begin.

The floats came bye for an hour, every one of them enchanting and mesmerizing. The children’s eyes lit up and there were shouts of glee as they passed.

But every one of us was building in anticipation for the final float – just like at Christmas, when everyone waits for Santa Claus, so we all could hardly contain our exuberance until Mickey and Minnie came into view.

It was dynamic and a joy to behold.

From Anaheim, we managed to grab a little time, to visit Hollywood, and stroll down the ” Walk of Fame “.
